Ecosolvent

The ecosolvent tool is a Life-Cycle Assessment tool that allows for the quantification of the environmental impact of waste-solvent treatment. Detailed information on the scientific background can be found on the Safety & Environmental Technology Group website. The ecosolvent tool can be downloaded from this website at no cost.

Download and run the ecosolvent tool:

1.) Dowload the ecosolvent tool ecosolvent.zip from the given link above

2.) Unzip the .zip file (e.g. use winzip tool for windows (http://www.winzip.com)). Now you have a folder "ecosolvent" with all necessary files in it.

3.) To run the ecosolvent tool:

For windows: double click "ecosolvent.exe" in the folder ecosolvent

For mac and unix: execute the scipt "startEcosolvent.bat" in the terminal:
(1) cd pathToEcosolvent (2) ./startEcosolvent.bat
(where pathToEcosolvent stands for the complete path to the file startEcosolvent.bat)
